PID Logic Control become more common use for process control such as temperature, pressure for flow. With PID logic, the process learning and respond action is precise and reliable.

PID controllers, typically, allow users to operate by P or I alone, or P+I, P+D or P+I+D setting together in order to achieve process control setpoint efficiently.

PID Control system consists of following components,

• Process Sensor – measure and sending process value (PV) to PID controller
• PID controller- compare PV to Setpoint (SP) and sending command (CMD) to positioner
• Positioner – control valve position as per CMD from PID controller then PV consequently change and repeat steps until PV = SP

GEMU Positioner 1434 and 1436-eco is design for precise valve position control. They are compatible with both linear actuators and quarter-turn actuators.

Suitable for sytem with already have controller, and need only positioners to control the valves.

Key feature of GEMU 1434 and 1436-eco is that ‘zero air-consumption’ when valves reach idle position, unlike other typical ‘pressure balance’ positioner where there is exhaust air at all time.

GEMU 1436 comes with function as positioner OR positioner with PID process controller. Customers can simply upgrade existing ON/OFF control to be REGULATING control without changing or add extra control module to PLC.

The latest technology GEMU 1441 is 2-wires technology which require only CMD 4-20mA without extra power supply. Together with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), GEMU 1441 is ready to connect to mobile device.

Monitoring, setting through application is much easier, especially when valves and positioners are at ‘hard to access’ location.
